Our Team

Gilakasla! My name is Clyde Dawson and I am a member of the Dzawada’enuxw First Nation. I grew up in U’kwanalis (Kingcome Inlet) and now reside in Comox with my wife & four daughters. As a family we all participate in practicing our traditional language Kwakwala.

I have been making jewelry for over a year now and, although new to this craft, my passion and creativity play out in the pieces I make. It just goes to show that it’s never too late to learn a news skill. You can visit my jewelry shop on Facebook at Clyde’s Copper Creations, or on the Dawson Family Square site.

Self-care and wellness has been such an integral part of my journey! I hope you find healing in our kits
